Georgia Book Award voting will begin March 31!
For the past several months, we have been reading the Georgia Book Award nominees to students in the media center, and many of you have also been reading the nominees to your classes. At long last, it’s time for each student to vote for his or her favorite Georgia Book Award book!
A description of each nominated book is listed below. When your class comes to the media center to vote, we will also show a PowerPoint presentation that gives a brief description of each nominee. Then, one at a time, each student will have the opportunity to cast his vote for his favorite book using a form we’ve posted online.
All you have to do is sign your class up for a 30-minute slot the week of March 31-April 4, or April 14-18. Your class will have time to checkout as usual after they’ve cast their votes. The winner will be announced the week of April 21.
